Warm the milk on the stove.

Pour the mixture back into the pot and place it on the stove.
Whisk continuously until the custard thickens.
Assemble the Cake
Dip each cookie in water briefly.
Arrange the dipped cookies in a layer.

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
