Falafel Mixture

  • 1can
    chickpeas
  • 1/2piece
    onion
  • 2clove
    garlic
  • 1/4bundle
    parsley
  • 1tsp
    cumin
  • 1tsp
    coriander
  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1/4tsp
    pepper
  • 2tbsp
    flour

For Frying

  • 1/2cup
    vegetable oil

How to make Falafel

Prepare Falafel Mixture

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.

  2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in flour until well combined.

Shape and Fry Falafel

  1. Shape the mixture into small patties.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Fry falafel patties in batches until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  4. Remove falafel from skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
