Ingredients
Cookie Dough
- 1cupButter
- 1/2cupGranulated Sugar
- 2 1/2cupsAll-Purpose Flour

- 1package Chocolate Chips
How to make Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies
Prepare the Dough
Whip butter and granulated sugar together until fluffy.
Add all-purpose flour and mix until the dough is very crumbly.
Shape the Cookies
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface.
Knead until smooth, about a minute or two.
Roll out the dough and cut into shapes.
Place shapes on a greased or lined cookie sheet.
Bake the Cookies
Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 20-25 minutes.
Dip in Chocolate
Melt chocolate chips by microwaving in 30-second bursts, stirring in between.
Dip cooled cookies into chocolate and allow to harden.
