  • 1bundle
    chard, washed and chopped
  • 1piece
    onion, diced
  • 2clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1can
    diced tomatoes
  • 1tsp
    cumin
  • 1tsp
    paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • 1cup
    vegetable broth

How to make Braised Chickpeas with Chard

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add the chopped chard to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add the chickpeas, diced tomatoes, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
