A delicious and easy-to-make banana trifle with layers of banana pudding, whipped topping, fresh bananas, vanilla wafers, and pound cake.

- 8ozCool Whip
- 5pieceripe bananas
- 4cupscold milk
- 10 3/4ozpound cake
- 1canwhipped cream
- 25pieceNilla Wafers
How to make Banana Trifle
Prepare the Pudding
In a large mixing bowl, whisk both boxes of instant pudding with 4 cups of milk. Follow the instructions on the pudding box for best results.
Place the bowl in the fridge for 5 minutes to allow the pudding to set.
Assemble the Trifle
Remove the pudding from the fridge and mix in the whipped topping. Return the bowl to the fridge for another 5 minutes.
Cover the bottom of a glass trifle dish with a layer of vanilla wafers.
Slice the bananas and set most aside. Place some slices around the sides of the trifle dish.
Pour half of the pudding mixture over the vanilla wafers and banana slices in the trifle dish. Add a layer of banana slices on top.
Cut the pound cake into cubes and place them along the sides and center of the trifle dish.
Add the remaining pudding, ensuring to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.
Add another layer of banana slices and pound cake in the same pattern as before.
Fill the center with whipped cream and fill spaces between the top layer of pound cake with more whipped cream.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure bananas are ripe but not overly brown for the best flavor and presentation.
For a firmer trifle, allow it to chill in the fridge for an additional hour before serving.
