- 24ozMarinara Sauce
- 2cupsMozzarella Cheese, sliced
- 2tbspGrated Parmesan Cheese
- Olive Oil, as needed
- Salt, to taste
- Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, to taste
How to make Baked Chicken Parmesan with Pasta
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Cooking
Toss the boneless, skinless chicken thighs in olive oil and season with salt and ground black pepper. Place on a sheet pan and bake for 18-20 minutes.
While the chicken is in the oven, cook the pasta and drain.
Slice the mozzarella cheese into 6 slices.
Pour half the marinara sauce over the chicken thighs. Top each with 1 slice of mozzarella and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
To a serving dish, add the cooked pasta. Top with the other half of the marinara sauce. Top with the chicken.
Garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
Tips & Tricks
For extra flavor, you can add some garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the chicken before baking.
