A delicious and easy-to-make chicken quesadilla with cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño.
Ingredients
- 4pieceflour tortilla
- 300gcheddar cheese
- 150gwhite onions
- 150gripe tomatoes
- 350ggrilled or smoked chicken
- 5gcilantro
- 30gjalapeño
How to make Chicken Quesadilla
Chop the white onions, ripe tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño.
Shred the cheddar cheese.
Cut the grilled or smoked chicken into small pieces.
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Place one flour tortilla in the skillet.
Sprinkle a layer of cheddar cheese on half of the tortilla.
Add a layer of chopped onions, tomatoes, chicken, cilantro, and jalapeño on top of the cheese.
Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
Cut each quesadilla into wedges and serve hot.
Tips & Tricks
For extra flavor, you can add a dash of cumin or paprika to the filling.
Serve with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for dipping.
